THE PROPAGATION OF THE FAITH

 

The Propagation of the Faith is all of us as we reach out to support the mission of Jesus throughout the world. The support you give through the Propagation of the Faith enables the Church in the Missions to continue and increase its healing, saving work among the poorest of our sisters and brothers.

 

PERPETUAL MEMBERSHIP

Through perpetual membership in the Propagation of the Faith you make an external profession of your internal commitment to be a disciple of Christ even to the ends of the earth. You become an active participant in the world wide Catholic mission effort

 

Prayer for the Missions each day and an offering for the work of the Mission Church constitute the “dues” for membership.

 

The daily prayers suggested are

•   Our Father

•   Hail Mary

•   Glory Be

•   St. Francis Xavier, pray for us

•   St. Theresa, pray for us

 

INDIVIDUAL PERPETUAL MEMBERSHIP

A person can enroll himself, herself or another, whether living or deceased. The offering requested is $50, and a certificate of enrollment is provided for one’s self, the friend enrolled, or the family of the deceased who is enrolled.

 

FAMILY PERPETUAL MEMBERSHIP

This membership, with a suggested offering of $100, is for a father, mother and their children, living or deceased.

Family perpetual membership may he applied to one’s own family or to another. A certificate is provided with appropriate names.

 

PERSONAL BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP

In gratitude for the prayers and support of its members, the Propagation of the Faith arranges for 15,000 Masses to be offered in the Missions each year expressly for their spiritual and temporal welfare. These benefits are perpetual and will continue to assist members after death.
